Pediatric ALS trainer

Aug. 20, 2007
This full body newborn challenges students with oral and nasal intubation, 4-lead monitoring and arrhythmia recognition, IV catheterization, brachial pulse, and I/O access in both lower legs. Whether in pre-hospital settings for EMS or in pediatric facilities, this manikin offers a wide range of training opportunities, including team and individual efforts. Patient assessment finds cranial sutures and fontanels for palpation, jaw thrust, land marks and features for CPR assessment, and bilateral lungs and a stomach for airway placement confirmation. The baby comes with a carry bag, ECG Simulator with 17 rhythms (special conversion to waiting rhythm feature), replacement I/O leg skins and a package of replacement bones, simulated blood, pulse bulb, and instructions.
